Pick a perfect stormy day. Develop unexplained allergies to nothing in particular. Sleep interruptedly for a span of six hours, really only resting for about four of those six hours.

Get up, mildly nauseated, and consume mass amounts of water while looking outside, the world lit as perfectly as possible, the trees heavy with translucent pearls, the wooden floor spotted by droplets.

Be startled by sudden thunder, rattling the floor, vibrations wafting through the feet.

Wait. Think about returning to bed. But do not. Still waiting.
