A fairy tale for you kiddies.

There was once a princess, who dreamed, in spare moments, of simplicity.

Her kingdom was invaded, and she fought along side her brothers, gallantly. But like all heroic fights, she and her army lost, losing more then just her freedom.

Paraded as a prize along strange streets. An armourless bird in silver cage. The citizens of the victors cheered on, all ticker tape smiles and blood oblivious cheers. The champion emperor, though not an unkind man, merely not ever meant to be more than a tyrant in merchantry.

Predictably, the princess was taken as the emperors new bride, as the empress had suffered the betrayal of motherhood.

She was soon with child, and despite her forced state, very much in love with her captor. And despite many chances to stage a coup detat with a dagger and clever political uphevel, she remained.

One of her brothers had survived the gruesome war, and raised a disgruntled army of conquered masses. Vowing, for honours sake, by his blood, to release his royal sister.

In a super nova display of military skill, the vengeful brother took the forted capital.

Drawing his blade, he slew the emperor, and his children.

Seeing this, the princess smiled at her brother, and spoke the following: It is good to see you again, dear brother. It was simple.

And with that, the princess fell against the rocks outside the window, sparing all moments.
