Four different sorts of people.

There are people who are modest, tender, and meek. They are quiet, and are careful wherever they tread. When entering a room, they greet those they know in a low voice. They do not attract attention, and downplay all accomplishments so as to paint a faade of simplicity.

There are people who are perpetually jovial. Their jolly laughter and rambunctious behaviour can be observed at all times. On sunny days they seem to thrive. They always have light topics to discuss with anyone who will listen.

There are people who stifle their instinct, so they might travel a path based purely on what is considered to be the norm. They remain unconcerned about themselves, and throw themselves into trivial daily chores. Their happiness is based on surface and display.

There are people who are nice. They make up the background, and never say anything to offend, nor to charm. One has a hard time remembering these people.

I am not any of these people.
