A note to the males of the general public.

Sirs, your appreciation of aesthetic is understandable, though, must you display your momentary adoration in such a crass and ungentlemanly manner?

The nudging of the companion and pointing, both of you stopping with fixed smiles and fixated stare.

The calculated gait in order to intercept her meditative walk, just to brush your hand against hers and offer an apology.

The rude manner in which you raised your eyebrows and called out to get her attention on a pedestrian empty street.

These primitive and unruly methods shall amount to nothing, but cause her to stare blankly past your shoulder and turn her head away without as much as a crumb of acknowledgement.

A tender smile and a slight nod is all that is necessary, if it so happens that her gaze meets yours. This is most disturbing when she has a obvious look of brooding discontent in the eyes, a tired and cumbersome stride, and you insist upon absconding with her peace.

She thanks you in advance for your compliance to her simple wishes. Though you will most likely continue along your misguided path.
